Van Basten assume a new position in FIFA

The International Federation of Football "FIFA" has decided to appoint Marco van Basten as director of the Department of Technical Development, on Friday, where President Gianni Infantino cost the best player in the world in 1992 to help "protect" the game.
And respect the work of Van Basten - who will start next week - in all functional areas of technological innovation in football to arbitration.
Infantino said in a statement: "Marco van Basten is football."
He added, "We discussed with him several months ago and listened to his views on the game and we know very well what is provided for this sport and for me it was a clear and immediate that Van Basten source of tremendous strength to FIFA and the technical department."

Van Basten was a 51-year-old former striker for Ajax Amsterdam and AC Milan works as an assistant coach for the Netherlands.
He said last month that he agreed with the Netherlands coach Danny Blind to stay in his work as an assistant until the end of the year.
