The Turkish economy is growing below expectations in the second quarter |
Official data showed on Friday that Turkey's GDP grew by 3.1% on an annual basis in the second quarter of the year, below its expectations of growth of 3.4% in the poll for "Reuters".
It was adjusted growth rate in the first quarter to 4.7% from 4.8% in the initial estimates.
The Turkish Statistics Institute said GDP grew by 0.3% in the second quarter after the adjustment, to take seasonal factors into account variables Calendar.
