US Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter said, on Thursday, said that relations between the United States and the Philippines , "steel", shortly after the statements of several anti-Americans launched byPresident Rodrigo Dottirty .
Carter said in a speech dedicated to re - balance the US giant to Asia during his stay on board the aircraft , "USS Carl Vinson" carrier that " the alliance with the Philippines steel, as is the case for decades ."
